Wow!
October has been and gone... November is almost over and we're rushing straight into the silly season!

As some of you may know, during October I lead a team campaign, raising funds for One Girl  . In their campaign Do It In A Dress  we raised over $3300, enough to Educate 11 girls!!  I'm so proud of our efforts and so grateful for all the support our friends, families, colleagues, clients and students gave. I know that there’s a lot of darkness, injustice and inequality in the world. But by taking action on something we believe in - empowering girls through education - we've have made the world a little bit better.

As the Christmas/New Year period emerges, I will be offering some services to help you through stressful times. I will run my regular public classes , private meditation coaching and private yoga sessions, mindset coaching ( using ACT therapy) and Thai Massage. Kids and teens yoga available too.

This October, I'm Doing It In A Dress!

It's that time of year again!
This year, I've partnered up with One Up Bar & Bistro and Amici Cafe to create some awesome Do It In A Dress events throughout October.  Togather we are TEAM TASH :-)
Over 60 million girls globally are denied an education, simply because they are girls.
A girl born in Sierra Leone is more likely to be sexually assaulted than go to high school.
But education changes everything.
Without education, a girl can struggle to earn a living and take care of her family.
But education changes everything
A girl's income increases by at least 10% for every year she stays in school. She'll get married later and have a smaller, healthier family.

 What a wonderfilled weekend of Meditation Teacher training we had with
April 15,15,17 2016.
Our Sunshine Coast group shared three transformative days together as we learned and practiced this very life-affirming approach to meditation with these two brilliant experts. The world needs more of this!
We are making plans for a return visit to Australia in April 2017.

Dr. Roche has been exploring, researching and teaching meditation since 1968, becoming a teacher of Transcendental Meditation. Over the years he has been developing an approach, which he calls Instinctive Meditation, that works with the fine structure of individual uniqueness, rather than imposing a standardized approach. He draws on insights into how people learn gained from the cognitive sciences, the Himalayan meditation tradition that TM is based on, Jungian dream work, and Tai Chi. This integrative approach results in simple ways for people to learn many different meditation techniques

This app features 11 relaxation exercises. These exercises were designed for children aged 4-12 years old. We created these relaxation activities for use in the classroom, but they can be used at home as well.
It’s important that your child/student is comfortable. They may sit or lay down. Make sure that they feel safe and secure, and take a few breaths before beginning and a few slow breaths to close the practice and return to the classroom activities or to sleep, if  at home. Some exercises are very short, and could be applied as a transitional activity to help your child focus and prepare for learning, or reduce anxiety.
Here at Schools Wellness Project, we are committed to supporting teachers, carers and parents; giving them the skills to enhance children’s development through use of yoga-based relaxation and movement exercises.
