We are well and truly into spring here on the Sunshine Coast! The days are certainly getting longer and warmer. To balance the firery energy of summer, I'm offering a cooling, gentle 8 week course, starting October 19th.
These classes offers 40 mins of
gentle fluid movement to dissolve physical tension, followed by 20 mins
of deep guided meditative rest. A very therapeutic class, designed to
help you understand, in an embodied way, the true value of self care.
This is an 8 week course, and is aimed at preparing you for the hectic times of the 'silly season'
Conscious rest is so rejuvenating, it renews your energy, relaxes
muscles and calms the nervous system helping to combat the negative
effects of stress. I truly believe that the practice of relaxation is
one of the best things you can do for your health and wellness.
Sometimes, the best thing we can do for ourselves - and others - is to
STOP overextending, to stop being goal oriented and to stop thinking
that we have to take care of EVERYTHING right NOW.
