So, my high school yoga girls have been loving the guided Yoga Nidra practices I have been offering them and wanted to know how they can practice this regularly at home. Yoga Nidra ( guided relaxation or 'psychic sleep)  is a deeply powerful practice... I recommend that we all practice this once a week. The skills that you acquire through regular practice are the perfect antidote to stress, exhaustion, fear and overwhelm.  I offer a weekly Yoga Nidra class every tuesday 515-545pm at Sunshine Coast Power Yoga, Buddina. Cost is $5 and is open to everyone.

I love the school holidays! I get a little more 'ME' time ... and a little more time for contemplation and reading, surfing, yoga-ing,  more time for friends and family.... the things that I truely value in life. I've been reading Brene Brown's book 'The Gifts of Imperfection' where she maps out a guide to living a wholehearted life. Living "Wholeheartedly" means cultivating the courage, compassion and connection to truely Love yourself and embrace ALL that is you.
